Social Responsibility – Business for Good
In 2007, B1G1 started with a simple idea: “What if every business could make a difference in their own way, just by doing what they normally do?”
With more than a decade of work, this simple idea has now become a global movement.
Here at BTP we are proud to support various initiatives and charities. As a supporter of B1G1 we can donate on a regular basis to projects and worthy causes.
The beauty of B1G1 is we can help relevant causes in line with our businesses and customers.
In simple terms, an example could be:
- When we carry out a fly control treatment – we will support programmes in Africa against Malaria. As this is a life-threatening disease caused by parasites that are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. It is preventable and curable.
This can include:
- Give a bed net to a child at risk of Malaria
- Provide Life-Saving Malaria medication
- Provide communities with access to bed nets against Malaria
- Give Malaria Treatments In Africa
2. A regular client of ours has a family in Thailand, so we can then support worthy projects out there.
This can include:
- Educate An Orphaned/At-Risk Child
- Assist A HIV-Affected Child With Life-Saving Medication
- Feed An Orphaned/At-Risk Child
- Give Assistance To Prevent Child Slavery
- Sponsor An Orphaned Student To University
3. Closer to home – From our domestic and commercial customer we can support UK based projects.
This can include:
- Provide Community Support For Older People
- Give Toiletries To Children In Emergency Accommodation
- Give A Buddy Bag To A Child In Crisis
- Give Toiletries To Children In Emergency Accommodation
- Help People With Learning Disabilities Gain Life Skills
